The John Knox Village Foundation is seeking an experienced fundraiser to drive our capital campaign. This role manages all aspects of the capital campaign in conjunction with a comprehensive fund development plan, including oversight of Foundation campaign events. You will work to maintain a high profile with residents in the community through workshops, seminars, presentations and face-to-face meetings, fostering lasting relationships with donors.
The John Knox Village Foundation supports the mission of John Knox Village and creates opportunities for each resident to find purpose, while benefiting from excellence along the continuum of care. Our Foundation is a not-for-profit 501c(3), and acts as an intermediary between our generous residents and areas of greatest need within our John Knox Village Community.
We want to speak with individuals with 8+ years’ experience in Major Gift Fundraising, Planned Giving, Charitable Gift Annuities and other plans that are offered by the Foundation. The candidate should enjoy working with elders and have excellent listening skills. Extensive experience regarding tax laws related to charitable giving mechanisms and skilled in advising donors regarding planned giving options. Fluent in a moves management system of major gift fundraising. Computer literacy and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, Planned Giving software, Raiser’s Edge and other gift data management platforms is preferred.
